In Series of KIP: Business and Subsidy Update, today we are going to share with benets of Standard Incentive Packages for Warehousing And Logistics in “RAJASTHAN INVESTMENT PROMOTION SCHEME 2024 ON WAREHOUSING AND LOGISTICS”
Objective:
The State aims to enhance the thriving business sectors in Rajasthan by providing strong industrial infrastructure through the development of logistics facilities and supporting the development of private industrial parks. The development of logistics facilities and private industrial parks is crucial to fostering economic growth in Rajasthan.
The Policy offers incentives across two categories under Industrial Infrastructure –
1. Logistics Infrastructure
2. Private Industrial Parks
Assistance for Logistics Infrastructure:
Capital Subsidy:- Rajasthan Government provide incredible subsidy to the investors of Warehouse. It reducing the burden
of capital procurement, Preventing industry decline and Boosting growth. 25 % of Capital Subsidy ceiling up to Rs.15 Cr or 7% Interest Subvention for a period of 7 years.
Eligible Entities:
Under this scheme incentives can avail by an entity/organisation such as Proprietary, Partnership, Pvt. Ltd. Company, Public Ltd., LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) and Co-operative society etc.
Eligibility:
- Minimum EFCI (Eligible Fixed Capital Investment) required to avail incentives under this Section is INR 2 Cr.
- The incentives under this Section shall be applicable to new units.
- The applicant must demonstrate sucient nancial capacity to establish and operate the warehouse.
- The applicant must be a registered business entity, such as a private limited company, partnership firm, or sole proprietorship.
- The applicant must submit a detailed business plan, including information on the warehouse’s location, size, and capacity.
- Enterprises seeking incentives under Warehouse sub-segment should be registered with Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (Dept. of Food & Public Administration), Government of India.
Commencement & Applicability:
The operative period of the Policy shall be till 31st March 2029 from the 08 October, 2024 or till a new policy is notied, whichever is earlier.
