ANDHRA PRADESH MSME AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT POLICY 4.0 (2024-2029)

In Series of KIP: Business and Subsidy Update, today we are going to share with you an informative series i.e., “Capital Subsidy Scheme” under ANDHRA PRADESH MSME AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT POLICY 4.0 (2024-2029).
Objective:
The Andhra Pradesh MSME & Entrepreneur Development Policy 4.0 (2024-29) aims to foster entrepreneurship and strengthen the MSME sector in the state. A key goal is to achieve “One Entrepreneur, One Family” by 2030, promoting self-reliance and economic growth. The policy focuses on increasing employment, enhancing industrial competitiveness, and supporting innovation-driven enterprises.
Quantum of Assistance:
The Andhra Pradesh MSME & Entrepreneur Development Policy 4.0 (2024-29) provides capital subsidies to support new and expanding enterprises. The quantum is assistance is as under:
- New enterprises receive 25% of Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) as a capital subsidy subjectto max upto 7.00 crore in medium enterprise, 1.50 crore in small eEnterprise. and 25 lakh in micro enterprise.
- Women, BC, SC, ST, and specially-abled entrepreneurs are eligible for an enhanced subsidy upto 35% of FCI subject to max upto 7.00 crore.
Eligible Entities:
Under this scheme incentives can avail by an entity/organisation such as Proprietary, Partnership, Pvt. Ltd. Company, Public Ltd., LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) and Co-operative society etc.
Eligibility:
The Industrial Manufacturing Units which complies with the following conditions will be eligible for availing benefits under this scheme:
- Classification: Enterprises must fall under the Micro, Small, or Medium category as per the MSME Act.
- Investment Limits: The policy considers Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) for subsidy eligibility.
- The incentives would be applicable only for enterprises involved in Manufacturing activity during the policy period.
- The overall incentive MSME can claim, through combination of incentive packages offered through this policy, shall not exceed 75% of FCI.
Commencement and Applicability:
This Policy shall be valid for a period of 5 years from the date of the policy notification, or till a new Policy is announced.
