PUNGRAIN CAP Godown Tender: 15.55 Lakh MT Storage Opportunity in Punjab
The Punjab State Grains Procurement Corporation Limited (PUNGRAIN) has invited tenders for the construction of new Cover & Plinth (CAP) godowns across 66 locations in Punjab. These storage facilities are planned to meet the demand of 15.55 lakh metric tons of food grain storage capacity.
PUNGRAIN has invited tender from bidders who own Land or holding land under Registered Lease Deed for a minimum period of 4 years from the date of submission of Bid with permission to construct CAP (Cover and Plinth) or willing to acquire land by way of ownership /Registered Lease deed (for minimum 4 years) within 15 days from the date of acceptance of GeM Bid for construction of CAP for Storage Requirements to be managed and supervised by Pungrain for a Guaranteed Lease period of Three(3) years on Build, Own & Operate (lease with services) or lease only (i.e. without services) basis for storage of food grains in the State of Punjab.

- Guaranteed Agreement: Successful bidders will get a 3-year guaranteed agreement with PUNGRAIN for storage services.
- Eligibility:
Bidders must either own land or hold it under a Registered Lease Deed for a minimum of 4 years from the date of bid submission. Alternatively, bidders willing to acquire land through ownership/lease (minimum 4 years) within 15 days of bid acceptance are also eligible. - Purpose:
Construction of CAP (Cover and Plinth) storage for Food Corporation of India (FCI) storage requirements. These facilities will be managed and supervised by PUNGRAIN. - Lease Terms:
Guaranteed lease period of 3 years on either:- Build, Own & Operate (lease with services) basis, or
- Lease only (without services) basis.
