• Contract Duration: The period of completion and price validity is for Twelve Months.
Financial Requirements
Tender Paper Cost: A non-refundable fee of Rs 590/- (including 18% GST) is required.
• Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): Bidders must deposit Rs 65,000.00 through the online portal.
◦ Exemptions: Co-operatives, Government bodies, NSIC, and MSME registered firms are exempt from the EMD requirement.
• Minimum Turnover: Bidders must have a minimum annual turnover of Rs 20,00,000/- for the 2023-24 financial year, supported by a certificate from a Chartered Accountant.
• Security Deposit: Successful bidders are required to deposit 2% of the bid value as a security amount within seven days of receiving a purchase order.
Technical Specifications & Scope
The federation requires a total quantity of 400 MT of briquettes. The material must meet the following quality standards:
• Gross Calorific Value (GCV): 3800 – 4000 Kcal/kg.
• Moisture Content: 5% – 10%.
• Ash Content: 5% – 10%.
• Size: 90 – 100 mm (uniform sizes and shapes).
• General Quality: The material must be fresh, free from adulterants, insects, fungus, and metallic pieces.
Eligibility & Compliance
This tender is open to reputed manufacturing units with a valid Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for the Odisha Government e-procurement portal. Essential documentation includes:
• GST Registration and PAN Card.
• Income Tax Returns (FY 2023-24) and GST Returns (Jan-Mar 2025).
• Client List and previous purchase orders to serve as credentials.
Delivery & Payment Terms
Basis: Prices must be quoted on a FOR (Freight on Road) destination basis, inclusive of all taxes, transportation, and unloading charges.
• Payment: 100% payment will be processed within 30 days after the materials are accepted by the plant’s quality section.
• Penalty: A penalty of 0.5% of the delivered quantity value per week will be deducted for failure to meet the supply schedule
