FCI Invites Tenders for Godown Construction in Karnataka
The Food Corporation of India (FCI), Regional Office Bengaluru, has officially invited online tenders for the construction of godowns in the Karnataka region
. This project is being launched under the Asset Monetization Policy of the Government of India and follows a “Build, Finance & Maintain” model.

Key Responsibilities
- Successful bidders will be responsible for the construction of the godown according to FCI specifications within a specified timeframe.
- Beyond construction, the tenderer must commit to the engineering maintenance of the civil structure, including electrical installations and CCTV hardware, for a 10-year “Maintenance Term”.
- It is important to note that while the tenderer builds and maintains the facility, the capacity will be owned, managed, and supervised by FCI at all times.

Submission Details
- System: The tender follows a two-bid system consisting of a Technical Bid and a Financial Bid.
- Platform: All applications must be submitted online via the Central Public Procurement Portal (https://eprocure.gov.in/eprocure/app).
- No Hard Copies: Hard copy submissions will not be accepted.
- Financial Bidding: Bidders are advised to quote their final rate, as no negotiations will occur after the financial bids are opened.
