“Capital Subsidy for Logistics Parks & Dry Ports Project ” under “Uttar Pradesh Warehousing & Logistics Policy, 2022”.
“Logistics Parks and Dry ports” include multi-modal logistics parks and transport terminals i.e. Inland Container Depots, Container Freight Stations and Air Freight Stations.
UP Government aims to strengthen the existing ports, inland container depots, freight stations and logistics terminals & attracting private investments for developing ports with modern facilities in the State through this policy.
Facilities eligible for incentives for Logistic Parks & Dry Ports Project under the scheme
- Logistic Parks providing logistic facilities such as cargo segregation, sorting, grading, etc., infrastructure facilities such as public transportation, communication facilities, etc., business & commercial facilities such as health centres, Petrol Pumps, EV Charging Stations, etc.
- Dry Ports providing services such as handling/clearance of containers under customs control.
- Capital Subsidy : Eligible Projects would get this subsidy only after project is completed & commercial operations are started.
Quantum of Capital Subsidy :
- 25% of Eligible Capital Investment subject to max. Rs. 25 Cr.
- (Rs. 50 Cr. In case project is set-up in Designated Logistics Zones)
Note : Areas nearby key infrastructure projects like upcoming Jewar International Airport , Regional Domestic Airports, etc will be notified as Designated Logistics Zones.
Eligible Entities :-
- Proprietorship,
- Partnership firm,
- Cooperative Society, Company, Trust,
- Non-Government Organization
- Limited Liability Partnership
Eligible Dry Port & Logistic Park Project :
Period of Applicability of Scheme for Logistic Parks & Dry Ports Project:
The Policy will be applicable for period of 5 years from the date of its notification.
