Capital Subsidy Scheme for Uttar Pradesh MSMEs under “Uttar Pradesh MSME Promotion Policy, 2022”.
UP Government is offering Capital Subsidy for the first time to the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of Uttar Pradesh. UP MSMEs are eligible for higher capital subsidy benefits in Bundelkhand & Purvanchal Region as compared to Madhyanchal & Paschimanchal Region.
Capital Subsidy is available as a percentage of Fixed Capital Investment made.
Financial Assistance/Subsidy Benefits Available:

Note : SC/ ST and women entrepreneurs will be eligible for 2% additional capital subsidy.
Eligibility & Conditions "Capital Subsidy Scheme" for Uttar Pradesh MSMES
- Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises of the state are eligible for aforesaid incentive.
- Land Cost can be part of Fixed Capital investment (FCI) – Max. – 10% of FCI.
- Total Financial assistance will be limited to Fixed Capital Investment (FCI).
- Capital Subsidy will be provided in 2 equal installments as follows –
- First Installment : Once the construction of related buildings is completed.
- Second Installment : Once at least 50% of commercial production has started.
- Eligible Investment Period (From the date of Application) under this scheme will be as follows:
- 2 years for micro enterprises
- 3 years for small enterprises
- 4 years for medium enterprises
- Units will have to start commercial production during the eligible investment period.
- Incentives under one head/category can only be availed under the said policy.
Period of Applicability of Scheme:
This Policy will be applicable for period of 5 years from the date of its notification.
