Necessary step needs to ensure before taking trade mark registration

Ensure that the trade mark you are going to take registration must be unique. It should not be resembled with any existing trade mark.
Ensure that trade mark should not be matched with the name of any Company or LLP.
Ensure that design should be new, not the copy of any existing design.
Before making the application with Registrar of Trade Marke, ensure the public search of such trade mark.
Select the appropriate Trade Mark Class of your product/service items.

As on date registration fee for individual application is Rs. 4500/- for one Trade Mark and For Corporate Applicant it is Rs. 9000/-.

Note: There is a subsidy provision of 50% on fee for MSME and Startup Registered unit.

In case Partnership Firm: Authorized By all partners

In Case Company : Authorized by Board Resolution

Date of first use of the mark.
Name and address of the proprietor of the mark.
Residential & Identity Proof of Applicant. (In case of other individual/proprietor certified copy of incorporation/ Registration Certificates of Entity duly signed by authorized person.)
Type of Goods or Services in which Business is operated.

Generally, Trade Mark registration has been issued by the Registrar with in 90 Days if it is unique prime faci and there is no resembles of it.
