FCI Invites Warehousing Tender in Assam Under PWS Scheme

1. PEG Scheme (Private Entrepreneur Guarantee Scheme)

2. PWS Scheme (Private Warehousing Scheme)
Under this scheme, FCI hires already constructed godowns on a Lease with Services model, where the owner is responsible for both space and grain handling/maintenance.

- You offer your godown to FCI on monthly rent
- You also take responsibility for maintaining the food grains stored inside (cleaning, pest control, stack maintenance, etc.)
- You quote your financial bid based on your rate per metric ton, and FCI will calculate based on a normalization factor linked to distance
Income Potential & Government Guarantee
- This tender provides a 2-year guaranteed storage agreement
- After the initial period, FCI may extend the contract
