Govt. Grants or Subsidy for Setting up Primary Processing Centres (PPCs) and Collection Centres (CCs) in Haryana.

1. Activities Covered under this Scheme
The Govt grant Scheme is applicable to both horticulture and non-horticulture produce such as: fruits, vegetables, grains & pulses, dairy products, meat, poultry and fish etc. for setting up of Primary Processing Centre (PPCs)/Collection Centre (CCs).
- Processing Facilities includes:
- Weighing
- Cleaning
- Sorting and Grading
- Packing
- Pre-cooling
- Controlled Atmosphere (CA)/ Modified Atmosphere (MA),
- Cold Storage
- Dry Warehouses and IQF.
- Mobile Pre-cooling trucks/ vans and reefer vans which may be suitable for transportation of the perishable agricultural produce/horticulture/ dairy/meat/poultry/fish produce as per requirement.
- Value addition and or processing of fruits and vegetables, using local produce as raw material.
2. Amount of Subsidy or Govt. Grants
Subsidy or govt grant is available under this scheme is 50% of Cost of Plant and Machinery and Technical Work of Building. Land cost shall not be taken for subsidy purpose.
Maximum subsidy amount is Rs. 1.75 Crore.
Further, you can avail Interest Subsidy @3% per year on Term Loan amount for 7 Years under Agriculture Infrastructure Fund.
3. Bank Loan
For taking the benefit of this scheme, Project must be financed by a Bank. If a person has not taken any bank loan for setting up the above said facilities, then he will not be eligible for this subsidy.
4. Project Location:
Project site must be located in the Block B, C and D as notified by the Department of Industry and Commerce of Haryana. If your project site has covered under Block A then you can not apply under this scheme or govt grant.
5. Basic Condition under this Govt. Grants scheme:
Units must be set up in Minimum One (1) Acres Land Area. If land area is less then 1 Acre then unit cannot apply under this scheme.
6. Who Can Apply for this scheme:
- A Proprietary Firm or Individual Entrepreneur
- A Partnership Firm/LLP
- A Private Limited Company
- Farmer Producer Organization
- Co-operative societies
- Self-help groups
- Non- government organizations
7. Release of Grant:
Govt Grant shall be release in Two Instalment of 50% each.
8. Time lines for Application:
The application for 1st instalment of 50%:
Should be made within 3 months from the date of utilization of the 50% of the project cost or from the date of commencement of production/service whichever is earlier.
The application for 2nd Instalment of 50%:
Need to be submitted within 3 months from the date of utilization of 100% of the project cost.
