HARYANA ELECTRIC VEHICLE POLICY-2022
Dear Businessman/Investors,
In Series of KIP: Business and Subsidy Update, today we are going to share with you benefit of Capital Subsidy Scheme under Haryana Electric Vehicle Policy-2022 notification dated 3rd November, 2022.
Objective:
The Capital subsidy scheme for manufacturing Electric Vehicles (BEV/FCEV), major components of EVs, batteries for EVs, manufacturer of charging infrastructure shall assist the enterprises in putting forth their endeavours toward manufacturing of EVs, components and charging infrastructure components.
Quantum of Assistance:
- Micro Industry: First 20 units in each segment of electric vehicle (2W, 3W, 4W, Buses/Heavy Vehicles) battery and charging equipment involved in manufacturing of electric vehicles, component, battery and charging equipment shall be eligible to receive a one-time subsidy of 25% of FCI up to INR 15 lakh.
- Small Industry: First 10 small units in each segment of electric vehicle (2W, 3W, 4W, Buses/Heavy Vehicles) battery and charging equipment involved in manufacturing of electric vehicles, battery and charging equipment shall be eligible to receive a one-time subsidy of 20% of FCI up to INR 40 lakh.
- Medium Industry: First 5 medium units in each segment of electric vehicle (2W, 3W, 4W, Buses/Heavy Vehicles) battery and charging equipment involved in manufacturing of electric vehicles, battery and charging equipment shall be eligible to receive a one-time subsidy of 20% of FCI up to INR 50 lakh.
Eligible Entities:
Under this scheme incentives can avail by an entity/organisation such as Govt. Department / PSUs / Joint Ventures/ NGOs / Cooperates / Self Help Groups SHGs / Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) / Private Sector Companies / Partnership Firms / Proprietorship Firms etc.
Eligibility:
The Industrial Manufacturing Units which complies with the following conditions will be eligible for availing benefits under this scheme:
- The unit shall commence commercial production on or after 10.07.2022
- The unit should commence commercial production within 05 years from the date of purchase of land.
- The land should have been purchased prior to 9.07.2027.
- The unit shall file Udyam Registration Certificate (URC) and Haryana Udhyam Memorandum (HUM) on the portal for statistical purpose, at any stage.
- The unit should not fall in the restrictive list as notified by the State Government from time to time.
- The unit should have obtained NOC/CLU from Competent Authority, if applicable.
- The unit should be in commercial production at time of disbursal of reimbursement.
- The unit shall remain in production for a period of at least 05 years from the date of commercial production or the charging station / battery swapping station shall provide services till at least 5 years.
- Large and Mega units shall compulsorily establish a battery disposal/recycling/material recovery facility at their proposed plant for claiming any incentive under this policy.
Commencement and Applicability:
The Scheme shall commence with effect from 10.07.2022 for Capital Subsidy Scheme and shall remain in operation for a period of 05 years. The units which have gone into commercial production on or after 10.07.2022 shall be eligible.
