Investment Opportunity In Food Processing Infrastructure Projects
The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) has invited proposals for the Creation/Expansion of Food Processing & Preservation Capacities (CEFPPC) under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY). As per the respective scheme guidelines dated 22nd January 2025.
The last date of submission of Application for Expression of Interest (EoI) is 28th March 2025 up to 5:00 P.M.
Who can apply :
- Individual
- Farmer Group (FPO)
- Proprietor Firm
- Partnership Firm/LLP
- Private Limited Company
Business Activities Covered :
- Fruits & vegetables processing
- Milk Processing
- Meat/ poultry/ fish processing
- Ready to Eat/ Ready to Cook Food Products/ Breakfast cereals/ Snacks/ bakery and other food products including nutritional health foods
- Grains/ pulses, oil seed milling and processing based on modern technology
- Other Agri-horticulture products including spices, coconut, soybean, mushroom processing, honey processing
- Fruits/ honey-based wines
- Natural Food flavors, food additives/ food extracts & colors, oleoresins, guar gum, cocoa products
- Manufacturing Jaggery from sugarcane and value-added products from Jaggery (as raw material) except sugar mills
- Any other sector that makes food products fit for human consumption.
- Animal feed manufacturing unit(s), already set up or being set up, in Mega Food Parks or Agro Processing Clusters approved by the Ministry from time to time.
Pattern of Financial Assistance:
- For General – 35% of Eligible Project Cost (Maximum Grant – up to Rs. 5.00 Cr.)
Project Cost not Include:
- Land cost
- Boundary Wall
- Office Room
- Internal Road
- Transport Vehicle
Basic Eligibility Criteria :
- In-Principle Sanction Letter along with Appraisal Note From Bank.
- Minimum Investment of Applicant should be at least 20% of Total Project Cost.
- One Applicant can apply for one application.
- Expansion/upgradation of existing units are eligible.
- Minimum Project Cost will be Rs. 3.00 Cr. in General Area.
Documents Required :
- Detailed Project Report
- Net Worth Certificate duly signed by CA.
- Final/In principle letter for Bank Term Loan along with Appraisal Note.
- Business Registration Certificate
- Bio – Data of Promoters
- Land related documents (if on lease then Agreement for 15 Years)
- Plant and Machinery Quotation.
- Item-wise and cost-wise details of technical civil works envisaged duly certified by Chartered Engineer (Civil).
- Item-wise and cost-wise details of Plant & Machinery envisaged duly certified by Chartered Engineer (Mechanical).
