Investment Opportunity in Food Processing Infrastructure Project
Hello Businessman/Investor,
Ministry of Food Processing Industries of Govt of India has invited the “Expression of Interest” for Set Up “Creation/Expansion of Food Processing & Preservation Units”.
The last date of submission of Application for Expression of Interest (EoI) is 15th December up to 5:00 P.M.
Application Fees is Rs. 20,000/- (Not Refundable)
A. Who Can Apply:
Any Individual, Partnership/ Proprietorship Firms/LLP and Pvt. Ltd. Company.
B. Business Activities Covered:
- Fruits & vegetables processing,
- Milk Processing,
- Meat/ poultry/ fish processing,
- Ready to Eat/ Ready to Cook Food Products/ Breakfast cereals/ Snacks/ bakery and other food products including nutritional health foods,
- Grains/ pulses, oil seed milling and processing based on modern technology,
- Modern Rice milling,
- Other Agri-horti products including spices, coconut, soybean, mushroom processing, honey processing,
- Fruits/ honey-based wines,
- Natural Food flavors, food additives/ food extracts & colors, oleoresins, guar gum, cocoa products,
- Manufacturing jaggery from sugarcane and value-added products from jaggery (as raw material) except supar mills,
- Any other sector that makes food products fit for human consumption.
- Animal feed manufacturing unit(s), already set up or being set up, in Mega Food Parks or Agro Processing Clusters approved by the Ministry from time to time.
Carbonated drinks/ beverages containing fruit juice/ pulp (more than 5% in case of lime/ lemon and more than 10% in case of other fruits)
C. Pattern of Financial Assistance:
For General Area – 35% of Eligible Project Cost
For SC/ST and FPO – 50% of Eligible Project Cost
D. Maximum Grant-in-aid :
The Maximum Grant-in-aid would be Rs. 5.00 Crore Per Project and will be provided on Cost of Technical Civil Work and Eligible Plant and Machinery.
E. Basic Eligibility Criteria:
- The Net worth of Applicant should be at least 1.5 times of the Grant Applied for.
- Bank Loan Sanction Letter along with Appraisal Note.
- Minimum Investment of Applicant should be at least 20% of Total Project Cost.
- One Applicant can apply for one application.
- Expansion/upgradation of existing units are eligible.
Minimum Project Cost will be Rs. 3.00 Cr. in General Area and Rs. 1.00 Cr for SC/ST.
F. Documents Required for Submitting the Proposal:
- Detailed Project Report
- Net Worth Certificate duly signed by CA.
- Final/In principle letter for Bank Term Loan along with Appraisal Note.
- Business Registration Certificate
- Bio – Data of Promoters
- Land related documents (if on lease then Agreement for 15 Years)
- Plant and Machinery Quotation.
- Item-wise and cost-wise details of technical civil works envisaged duly certified by Chartered Engineer (Civil).
Item-wise and cost-wise details of Plant & Machinery envisaged duly certified by Chartered Engineer (Mechanical).

Secondly I am not interested in selling milk I will convert milk in paneer or khoya the machine to convert milk should be gobar gas operated
