What is Market Development Assistance?
Market Development Assistance (MDA) is a government grant available to exporters for their export promotion activities like participation in international Trade Fairs/Exhibitions/ trade delegations in order to explore new markets for export of their products
Who is Eligible?
All Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs) existing anywhere in the state shall be eligible under the scheme.
Applicability of Scheme under Market Development Assistance :
Above scheme is applicable w.e.f. 01.01.2021 & shall remain in operation upto 31.12.2025.
How much assistance is available?
MSEs would be eligible for financial assistance by way of reimbursement for participation in one international fair/exhibition only in a year.
Financial Assistance is given as under:
- 75% reimbursement of various charges like space charges at the exhibition, transportation charges of exhibits (products/items), product literature cost, cost of display material, etc.
However, assistance by way of reimbursement of charges cannot exceed Rs. 4 Lacs.
- Air fare of participants of exhibition by economy class for a maximum of 2 persons will be eligible for reimbursement.
However, assistance by way of reimbursement of air fare cannot exceed Rs. 1 Lac.
