RAJASTHAN INVESTMENT PROMOTION SCHEME 2024

In Series of KIP: Business and Subsidy Update, today we are going to share with benefits of Standard Incentive Packages for Start-ups Enterprises in RAJASTHAN INVESTMENT PROMOTION SCHEME 2024.
Objective:
Rajasthan is cultivating a dynamic start-up ecosystem, offering a conducive environment for innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. The State supports start-ups through incubation centres, mentorship programmes, and access to funding, helping new businesses grow and succeed. Rajasthan’s focus on fostering a collaborative network of entrepreneurs and investors, coupled with its policies to encourage innovation, positions the State as a prime destination for start-up ventures.
Quantum of Assistance:
- Electricity Duty: The policy provide assistance of 100% exemption of Electricity Duty for 7 years.
- Mandi Fee: The policy provide assistance of reimbursement of 100% of Mandi / Market Fee for 7 years.
Eligible Entities:
Under this scheme incentives can avail by an entity/organisation such as Proprietary, Partnership, Pvt. Ltd. Company, Public Ltd., LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) and Co-operative society etc.
Eligibility:
- Start-ups need to meet the ‘Bronze’ or higher qualifying criteria under the Q-Rate programme of the Government of Rajasthan. All incentives for Start-upssp shall be capped annually at INR 5 crores.
- Incubators and accelerators shall be entitled to avail special incentives offered for establishment of business incubation centres, provided that such incubator / accelerator is registered as separate legal entity from the host institute / enterprise.
Applicability:
The operative period of the Policy shall be till 31st March 2029 from the date of issuance, or till a new policy is notified, whichever is earlier.
