Scheme for Hi-Tech Nurseries under Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH).
Under this scheme, Assistance will provide for setting up of new high-tech nurseries under the public as well as private sector to promote production & distribution of High-Quality seeds & planting material.
High-Tech Nurseries for horticulture
Should have area between 1 to 4 hectare with capacity to produce 50,000 plants per hectare of fruit crops, tree spices, aromatic trees, plantation crops per year.
Note : In case of bamboo, size of Hi-Tech Nursery should be max. 2 hectare.
Financial Assistance/Subsidy/Benefits Available
The Quantum of Assistance as under would be provided as per the given below terms:
- 100% of cost of project for public sector enterprises max. upto Rs. 100 lakhs.
- 40% of cost of project for private sector enterprises (Credit Linked Back-ended subsidy) max. upto Rs. 40 lakhs
Financial Assistance is available for following type of activities
- Proper Fencing
- Net House
- Irrigation facilities
- High-tech green house having insect proof netting on sides
- Pump house to provide sufficient irrigation to plants
- Water storage tank to meet at least 2 days requirement, etc.
