1 Scheme :
So the Scheme is Reimbursement of 100% of net SGST for 7 years from the date of commercial production with a cap of 100% of FCI.
It means that this Policy Offers Every Businesses refund of all SGST they pay for seven years from the date they start selling their products or services. And the refund amount can not be exceed the total amount they have invested in things like land, buildings, and equipment for their business.
This is meant to encourage businesses to invest in their operations and help them save money on taxes.
2 Benefits :-
- Firstly the Small Businesses can get all the SGST they’ve paid for seven years after they start selling their products.
- The maximum amount of refund you can get is equal to the total money you’ve invested in things like land, buildings, machinery, and equipment for your business.
- The scheme helps small businesses by reducing the amount of tax they have to pay. Small Businesses can save a lot of money. They can use this saved money to grow and expand their business.
3 Eligibility:
- The Business must be registered under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act and have a valid GST registration number.
- The MSME should have obtained Udyam Registration.
- MSMEs need to submit detailed documentation, including proof of MSME status, GST registration certificate, FCI details, commercial production date, and other relevant documents.
- All the entrepreneurs should have Permanent Account Number (PAN) and should regularly file the Income Tax Returns.
4 Documentation :
- Firstly you have proof of commercial production which means that the date of commercial production, such as sales invoices, production records, or business registration documents.
- A copy of the GST registration certificate to verify that the business is registered under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act.
- Details of the Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) of your Business, including invoices, receipts, and other relevant documents for land, buildings, machinery, and equipment.
- A completed application form for claiming the reimbursement to take benefits, including details of the SGST paid and the FCI.
- Details of your Bank Account where the reimbursement amount is to be credited, including the bank account number and IFSC code.
So the Punjab Government provides you benefits of your business to grow very efficiently. The Government launched this scheme main objective is to encourage businesses to invest in the state by reducing the amount of tax they need to pay. This helps the economy grow and creates more opportunities for local businesses to expand.
