Then know the subsidy on it:- Subsidy on Creation/Expansion/Diversification of Individual Agro & Food Processing Units under Haryana Agri-Business & Food Processing Policy.
Expansion/Diversification means –
Existing units taking up expansion/diversification with –
- At least 50% additional investment in plant and machinery/ technical civil work
- As on the date of expansion/ diversification & commencing production.
Objective of the scheme For Agro & Food Processing Unit–
- To increase the level of Food Processing, reduction of wastage, value addition, enhance the income of farmers.
- Overall development of food processing sector.
The scheme provides financial assistance –
- For setting up of new food processing units.
- For expansion of existing units in the state.
Financial Assistance/Subsidy/Benefits Available:
Assistance to individual units to be set-up in “C” & “D” Category Blocks:
- Capital Subsidy @ 25% on Fixed Capital Investment subject to max. Rs. 1 Crore.
- SGST Reimbursement –
- 100% Net SGST for a period of 10 years from the date of commencement of commercial production.
- With a cap of 100% of FCI.
Assistance to individual units to be set-up in Food Parks in “A” & “B” Category Blocks:
- Capital Subsidy @ 25% on Fixed Capital Investment subject to max. Rs. 50 Lacs.
- SGST Reimbursement –
- 100% Net SGST for a period of 10 years from the date of commencement of commercial production.
- With a cap of 100% of FCI.
Eligible Entities For Agro & Food Processing Unit:
- Proprietorship Firms
- Partnership Firm
- Companies/Corporations
- Cooperatives
- Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
- Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs)
- Non-Government Organisations (NGOs)
- Central/State PSUs
Food processing sectors eligible under the scheme :
- Fruits & vegetables processing
- Milk processing
- Meat, poultry, fish processing
- Ready to eat/ Ready to cook food products/ Breakfast cereals/ snacks/ bakery and other food products including nutritional health foods.
- Agri-horticultural sectors including food flavors/ food additives and colors, oleoresins, spices, coconut, mushrooms and hops.
Food Packaging which enhances the shelf life of food shall also be considered as a part of food processing.
Ineligible Individual Units :
- Extraction of oil from different kind of seeds
- Shelling, grading and polishing etc. of rice
- Primary Processing of millets
- Manufacturing of all kinds of pulses/dals
- Guar and Guar-gum units
- Units engaged in grinding of Wheat, Flour Mills and Manufacturing of Suji, & Maida.
- Aerated water, package drinking water and soft drinks.
