Dear Suppliers, the Uttar Pradesh Government’s Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL) is pleased to announce a new opportunity for you. We are launching a tender for Agro-based Non-Torrefied Pellets in Aligarh as part of our commitment to promoting renewable energy sources.
This initiative aims to encourage the use of agricultural waste for renewable energy, offering a sustainable solution for power generation.

How to Apply :-
The Bid Submission module of e-procurement website :- https://etender.up.nic.in
- It is necessary for the bidders to be the registered on website.
- For registration the bidder has to register with their Digital Signature Certificate.
Quantity :-
The tender is for supplying a total quantity of 1,330,000 (MT) of Agro-based Non-Torrefied Pellets annually. Of this, 900,000 MT is for the DTPS plant and 100,000 MT is for the ETPS plant.
Tenure :-
The tenure for this tender is 7 years, which means that the supplier who wins the contract will be responsible for supplying the specified quantity of pellets annually for a period of 7 years.
Pre Qualified Conditions:
- Tender Cost required is Rs 1000+ Rs 180 (18% GST)= Rs 1180
- The EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) for this tender is 8 lakhs for the 20MTPD (Metric Tonnes Per Day) capacity and 14.28 lakhs for the 40MTPD capacity.
- EMD Calculation Example:-
For 20MTPD EMD is fix:- INR 8 Lakh
For 40MTPD EMD = 8 Lakh + (Quoted Quantity MTPD / 20 MTPD) * (0.5% of estimated cost*20MTPD*365 days)
• 800000+(40/20)*(0.5*8600*20*365)= INR 1427800/-
*(This calculation is done assuming 40 MTPD offered at a price of 8600/ton).
Security Deposit:-
INR 5000 per MTPD quantity per year of supply period. (For Ex – for 40 MTPD for 7 years security deposit will be 14 lakhs). 25% of the amount should be submitted within 30 days balance will be recovered from running bills.
Payment Terms:-
• 75% will be made after receipt of material at site and
• Balance 25 % payment on receipt and acceptance of Test result.
• Payment for Quantity delivered between 1st -15th of the month will be done on last day of that month and Payment for Quantity delivered in second half of the month will be done on 15th of Next month.
• In order to take 100% payment of the contract value the contractor shall furnish to the Purchaser a Bank guarantee in the sum of 10% value of each consignment.
