UPRVUNL Tender For Non Torrified Biomass Pellets Supply
Dear Suppliers, the Uttar Pradesh Government’s Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL) is pleased to announce a new opportunity for you. We are launching a tender for Agro-based Non-Torrefied Pellets in Hasimpur Aligarh (UP) as part of our commitment to promoting renewable energy sources.
This initiative aims to encourage the use of agricultural waste for renewable energy, offering a sustainable solution for power generation.
The Last date to submit bids for this scheme is 20th May 2025 At 5:00 PM.
How to Apply :-
- It is necessary for the bidders to be the registered on website.
- For registration the bidder has to register with their Digital Signature Certificate.
Quantity :-
The tender is for supplying a total quantity of 3,50,000 MT of Agro-based Non-Torrefied Pellets annually. 960 Metric Tonnes per Day (MTPD) of agro-based non-torrefied biomass pellets.
Supply Duration:
The contract period for supplying biomass pellets is 1 year. If, due to plant-related issues or force majeure, the full quantity isn’t supplied within this time, the supplier will get an additional three-month grace period to deliver the remaining pellets.
Pre Qualified Conditions :
- The estimated project cost is ₹276 Crores (excluding freight & GST).
- The tender fee is ₹1,180 (non-refundable).
- Suppliers must submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) based on their quoted quantity .
- Starting from ₹8,00,000 for 20 MTPD, up to ₹15,19,780 for the maximum 50 MTPD.
Security Deposit:-
The Alloted Supplier must submit a security deposit of ₹5,000 per MTPD for 1 year. For example, if 50 MTPD is awarded, the deposit will be ₹2,50,000. At least 25% of this amount must be paid within 30 days of the Purchase Order, and the rest will be recovered from future bills at 10% of the basic bill value, up to the full deposit amount.
