A need is felt to –

Thus, UP Government has come up with this policy in which various incentives for storage facilities, logistics parks & ports are covered.
- Storage Facilities includes Facilities such as warehouses, silos, cold-chain facilities.
- Logistics Parks includes Logistic facilities such as cargo segregation, sorting, grading, etc., infrastructure facilities such as public transportation, business & commercial facilities such as health centres, EV Charging Stations, etc.
- Ports includes Inland Container Depots, Container Freight Stations, Air Freight Stations providing services such as handling/clearance of containers under customs control.
Eligible Entities for availing Uttar Pradesh Warehousing & Logistics Policy-
- Proprietorship,
- Partnership firm,
- Cooperative Society, Company, Trust,
- Non-Government Organization
- Limited Liability Partnership
What type of Financial Assistance/Subsidy/Benefits are available
There are two types of subsidies as follows –
(a) Subsidy which will be available before you start commercial operations like exemption from stamp duty, concession on land use conversion charges, etc.
(b) Subsidy which will be available only after project is completed & commercial operations are started like Capital Subsidy, Electricity Duty Exemption, skill development subsidy, etc.
Period of Applicability of Scheme:
The Policy will be applicable for period of 5 years from the date of its notification.
So ,if you are planning to set-up new project in UP and under the above said categories. Then, You can enjoy maximum benefits out of above said policy.
