. This contract is specifically for the Balasore Dairy and carries an estimated tender value of Rs 40,00,000/-
Key Supply Requirements
- Suppliers looking to participate must be prepared to meet the following high-quality standards to ensure the efficiency of dairy operations:
- Total Quantity: 500 Metric Tonnes (MT).
- Contract Duration: Twelve months of supply
- Technical Specifications: Briquettes must have a Gross Calorific Value (GCV) of 3800–4000 Kcal/Kg, with moisture content between 5% and 10% and ash content between 5% and 12%.
- Physical Size: 90–100mm uniform sizes and shapes.
- Quality Guarantee: Materials must be fresh and free from adulterants, insects, fungus, or metallic piece.
Eligibility for Bidders
To be considered for this project, manufacturing units must meet specific financial and legal criteria:
- Minimum Turnover: Bidders must show a minimum annual turnover of Rs 20,00,000/-.
- Documentation: Required uploads include the Turnover Certificate for 2023-24, IT returns for the assessment year 2025-26, and a GST Registration certificate.
- Proven Track Record: A client list and copies of previous orders must be provided as credentials.
Financials and Deadlines
- Submission Window: Bidding opens April 10, 2026, and closes at 02:00 PM on April 30, 2026.
- Costs: A non-refundable tender paper cost of Rs 590/- and an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 65,000/- are required (though MSMEs and Co-operatives are exempt from EMD).
- Payment Terms: Successful suppliers will receive 100% payment within 30 days of the quality acceptance of the materials at the plant.
Logistics and Penalties
- Bidders should note that prices must be quoted on a FOR destination basis, meaning the price includes all taxes, transportation, and unloading charges at the dairy.
- It is also important to maintain the delivery schedule, as OMFED will apply a penalty of 0.5% of the delivered quantity’s value for every week of delay.
