UP Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd, Harduaganj Thermal Power Project – UPRVUNL– Aligarh, has invited tender for Supply of Agro based Non-Torrefied Biomass Pellets for Coal Handling Plant, CTPS and DTPS, Harduaganj TPS, Kasimpur through Open Tender for 2 Years.
Some key points for submitting the tender:
- Last date for filling the Tender: 12th August 2024
- Only Existing Pellets manufacturers having their Manufacturing Plant location in NCR region only shall be allowed to participate in the tender
Earnest Money Deposit (EMD):
EMD to be submitted in multiple of 10 MTPD:
- For Min quoted Quantity 20 MTPD, EMD shall be 8.00 Lac.
- For 30 MTPD, EMD shall be 11,55,875.00
- For 40 MTPD, EMD shall be 12,74,500.00,
- For maximum 50 MTPD, EMD shall be Rs. 13,93,125.00
(EMD should be deposited through RTGS/NEFT/BG)
Note: No EMD Exemption is available.

Total Quantity: 225000 MT (To be delivered in 2 years)
- Minimum Quantity need to offer: 20 Ton Per day.
The Firm shall quote quantity in multiple of 10 only i.e. 20 MTPD (minimum allowed), 30 MTPD, 40 MTPD and 50 MTPD (Maximum Allowed).
- Mode of Transportation: By Covered Truck Only.
- Raw Material: Agri residue based Pellets. Wood based Pellets not allowed.
- Period of Contract: 2 Years, Delivery need to be start with in 30 days of LOA. Maximum Grace Period: 3 Months for 1 Year and 6 Month for 2 Years.
- Pricing: Total procurement price shall be (A+B) + GST Extra as follows:
- Basic Price per 1000 Kcal (which includes P&F, Insurance Charges )
- Transportation cost per 1000 Kcal
No Increment in Pricing
- Security Deposit: Security Deposit shall be Rs 5,000.00/- (Rupees Five Thousand) per MTPD quantity per year of supply period.
Supplier shall deposit a minimum of 25% of total Security Deposit amount within 30 days of issue of Purchase Order and the remaining amount shall be recovered from running bill @ 10% of the Basic value of bills subject to maximum Security Deposit (SD).
