Bihar Logistics Policy 2023: Eligibility Norms
To avail of the benefits under the Bihar Logistics Policy 2023, your project must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum Storage Capacity: 5,000 MT
- Minimum Investment: ₹30 Crore
- Minimum Construction Area: 1 Lakh Square Feet
Major Subsidy Benefits (Official Provisions)

1. Capital Subsidy
A provision of 15% Capital Subsidy on Fixed Capital Investment (FCI), capped at a maximum of ₹4 Crore. This is disbursed in three installments:
- First Installment (50%): Within 12 months or at 50% project completion (whichever is earlier).
- Second Installment (30%): Within 24 months or at 80% project completion (whichever is earlier).
- Third Installment (20%): Within 36 months or at 100% project completion.
2. Interest Subsidy
Avail an Interest Subvention of 10% or the actual interest rate (whichever is lower) on term loans. The maximum cap is 50% of your FCI. It is effectively an interest-free bank loan for your project.
3. Additional Incentives
- SGST: 100% reimbursement for the first 5 years.
- Electricity Bill: 100% reimbursement of electricity duty for 5 years.
- Stamp Duty/Registration: 100% exemption/refund (for the first time).
- Land Conversion Charges: 100% absorption/waiver.
