Today we are going to share with you an Updated Subsidy Policy i.e., “Subsidy for Non-storage business under New Agricultural Marketing Infrastructure”.
This scheme will be for the non-storage capacity which includes the marketing infrastructure in which there is any value addition to a raw agriculture produce but does not change in product form.
Under the non-storage, the activities covered hereunder are cleaning, cutting, de-podding, labelling, stitching, ripening, de-sheller, sorting packing, grading, freezing etc in relation to the raw agriculture produce. Mini Oil expeller for extraction of edible vegetable oil from oilseeds and Mini Dal Mill were also included in the Non-Storage business.
Eligible Beneficiary of this scheme to Non Storage
- Individuals
- Group of farmers- FPO
- Partnership, Proprietary firms, Companies, corporations
- NGOs, Self-help groups, Cooperatives
Financial Assistance/Subsidy/Benefits Available to NON Storage:-
The Quantum of Assistance as under this scheme would be provided as per the given below terms:
For creation of non-storage infrastructure
- 33.33% of project cost subject to maximum of Rs 30 Lakhs for the Registered FPO, Panchayati Raj Institutions, Women farmers/entrepreneurs, SC/ST entrepreneurs and their cooperatives.
- 25% of project cost subject to maximum of Rs 25 lakhs for all other categories of beneficiaries.
Time Limit to apply:-
Within 60 days of the disbursal of the first instalment of loan.
