Today we are going to share with you a New Subsidy Scheme i.e, “Subsidy for Textile units for Promoting Green and Sustainable Production ”.

For reducing harmful waste produced by textile unit and apparel industries, the state government is taking various steps to adopt eco-friendly and green technologies for sustainable production. The State Government is providing various incentives under this scheme for promoting eco-friendly methods of production and reducing waste. This policy is focused to reducing fabric waste, Sludge Waste and water waste generated by these type of industries.

With an objective of adoption of eco-friendly and green technologies for sustainable production, Government has launched the scheme Haryana Atma Nirbhar textile policy 2022-25 in which textile units, textile parks, Anchor and mega units, units adopting Green and Sustainable Production can avail the benefit of subsidy.

Period of Applicability Apply to Textile Unit :

The policy will be applicable to textile unit from the date of its notification as on 19^th December, 2022 for upto the period of 3 years.

Eligible Textile Activities :

Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, and Forestry Textiles
Architectural and Constructional Textiles
Clothing Textiles
Geotextiles
Household Textiles
Industrial textiles
Medical and Hygiene Textiles
Transportation Textiles
Environment Protection Textiles
Packaging Textiles
Protection and Safety Textiles
Sport and Recreation Textiles
Textile Unit

Eligible Entities:

Any unit or textile unit whether proprietorship, partnership firm, Company/LLP, any other entity having the business of textile whether existing or new unit under the block category of B, C and D of Haryana will be eligible for the subsidy under this scheme. The existing units will cover if there is expansion/diversification with the new investment of more than 25% of existing gross fixed capital investment.
